Requirements
Must be able to move throughout the restaurant for extended periods of time (up to 10-12 hours per day).
Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs for distances of up to 10 ft.
Must be able to balance and move up to 25 lbs for distances of up to 50 ft.
Must be able to understand and respond to co-workers’ and guests’ requests in a loud environment.
Must be able to visually recognize proper food presentations and food quality.
Skills
Must be TIPS certified and Aloha proficient.
Ability to monitor each customers’ alcohol consumption and be highly aware of over-serving our guests. Every server must be able to refuse alcohol service to customers in a polite and effective manner.
Excellent organizational skills.
The Rio strictly forbids the service of alcohol to minors. All servers must be able to adhere to all of our rules for responsible alcohol service. This includes carding our guests and calculating ages based on dates of birth.
Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment. Must be highly adaptable and multi-task well.

• Be attentive to all customers’ needs.
• Be accurate with money and tabs.
• Use responsible alcohol service training conscientiously.
